1. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the Banza brown rice pasta according to package directions until al dente. 2. Reserve about 1 cup of pasta water before draining. 3. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. 4. Add the garlic and sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant. 5. Stir in the miso paste and ¼ cup of the pasta water, whisking until the miso dissolves into a smooth, creamy sauce. 6. Add in the mushrooms and sauté in the sauce until soft, about 3 minutes. 7. Add the drained pasta to the skillet and toss well, adding more pasta water as needed until the sauce coats every strand. 8. Divide into bowls and top with scallions, sesame seeds, and chili crisp.
